Services

Liver Surgery
Liver surgery usually involves the removal or repair of a portion of the liver. This is usually done to treat liver cancer, benign liver tumours, liver transplantation, and more. This can even extend to treat other conditions of the biliary system.
Our liver surgery services include procedures using advanced French resectional techniques and non-resectional techniques for various conditions, such as:
- Benign liver tumours
- Liver abscesses
- Liver cysts
- Hepatocellular carcinoma (primary liver cancer)
- Liver metastases (secondary liver cancer)
- Gallstones
- Gallbladder and bile duct conditions

Laparoscopic Surgery
Laparoscopic surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery. In this procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions and inserts specialised, long and thin surgical instruments through the incisions to perform the operation. A small camera is also inserted and the surgeon watches the entire procedure in real-time on a screen. Through this, the recovery time is faster and the risks are lower.
Laparoscopic surgeries can be done for the following:
- Gallstone disease
- Appendicectomies
- Colectomies
- Tumour evaluation
- Management for obesity
- Management of gastroesophageal reflux

General Surgery
General surgery entails a wide range of surgical procedures. At our clinic, we provide surgery for the pancreas, bile ducts and other organs of the upper and lower digestive tract; as well as endocrine and breast surgery.
Our general surgery services include:
- Hepatobiliary surgery
- Pancreatic surgery
- Upper gastrointestinal surgery (Including cancers of the oesophagus and stomach)
- Colorectal surgery (Including cancers of the colon, rectum, haemorrhoids, and other perianal conditions)
- Endocrine surgery (Including thyroid surgery and laparoscopic adrenalectomy)
- Breast surgery

Outpatient Surgery
Outpatient surgeries are also known as day surgeries, and are surgical procedures that allow patients to return home on the same day of the surgery without needing to be hospitalised overnight. This allows for numerous benefits such as:
- Convenience
- Safety
- Lower cost
- Less stress
- Better scheduling
Several procedures can be done in our clinic’s minor operating theatre, such as:
- Endoscopy procedures
- Ligation of piles/haemorrhoids
- Colonoscopy for colon polyps and cancer
- Excision biopsy of skin and breast lumps
- Incision and drainage of skin abscesses
- Circumcisions

Pancreatic Surgery
The pancreas is a vital organ responsible for releasing enzymes that help to digest food, and hormones that help to manage blood sugar. If you have problems with your pancreas, surgical procedures may be needed in order to remove or repair diseased portions of the pancreas.
One common procedure is the Whipple procedure or pancreaticoduodenectomy. It is used to treat pancreatic conditions such as:
- Pancreatic cancer
- Bile duct cancer
- Pancreatic cysts and tumours
- Pancreatitis
- Neuroendocrine tumours
